I was born in Washington DC to hard-working, dedicated Colombian immigrants.

I am a humanist, artist, scientist, activist, pacifist, graduate, web designer, social anthropologist, dancer, traveler, student, worker, writer, inventor, entrepreneur, performer, dreamer, wife, lover, daughter, sister, grandchild, aunt, cousin, INFJ, leo, rabbit, animal lover, beach lover, mac lover, urbanite, rocker, and witch. I am a human. Orgullosa de ser humana!

My primary interests are social justice, culture, immigration, race and ethnicity, but I am also a woman. Una latina to be precise. I refuse to be a sex object for men, or a non-sex object for certain feminists. This latina is strong, highly educated and yes, she is also a beauty queen. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of other blogs you can read. Ain’t the Internet great?

Hi, I love your blog. Aside from the content, it’s refreshing to read a really well-written blog. I’ve added you to my blogroll.

You might be interested in my blog, a revisionist history of the U.S., Making The World Safe For Hypocrisy. If you stay tuned over the next few months as I edit and post the material I have been researching the past five years, you will see an increasing focus on Latin America, particularly on U.S. “interventions”.
